I got this as a gift from a friend who said that it's one of their favourite books, and read it in one sitting on a flight home. Blankets invokes the same feelings in me that visiting museums and looking at snowglobes do. It preserves a sense of sacredness in all things, no matter how temporary — snow, first love, faith etc. I think this is one of those books you experience, as opposed to deliberately processing/thinking about it.
(Also I really liked that this graphic novel was in black and white for some reason)
