So are fairytales. Whether you believe in fairies or whether you don’t, there are too many tales with similar themes for it to mean nothing. Some of these heroes and villains must have existed in some form, the events must have happened, even if it was once upon a time and far far away.

But what if everybody didn’t always live happily ever after?

Somewhere To Be is the story of Mainder, living an ordinary life in an ordinary town and counting down the days until he can go home. Unfortunately before he can do that, he has to finish overseeing the ruin of his ancient enemy’s hopes and complete the destruction of his house. Plus there’s the shop to run and accounts to file, and in the middle of all of this there’s a girl who shines brighter than any mortal should. After patient centuries of revenge, always being three steps ahead of his opponents, suddenly he has to face the fact that he may not be as on top of things as he’d assumed.
